Asbestos is an excellent insulating and fire proof material which means, it could contain heat well. This property was exploited for the design of furnaces for the production of metals, especially alloy and steel. That is why in early nineteen hundredths, during the onset of industrial revolution, its demand grew rapidly. Through it, strong materials for warfare had been fabricated and utilized well during world wars one and two.

Though the utilization of asbestos had been totally banned last 2004 it is not yet implemented fully. There are still industries who utilized it especially in third world countries that became damping sites of this carcinogen. This is very much unfair and it must be stopped.
